Our Aims & Purpose
The aim and purpose for the college scholarship is to encourage students throughout america to continue striving for a more productive life after high school . The college scholarship would afford the zealous student a higher learning opportunity to do something greater and/or improve his/her life. It also serves as a tool to build hope and faith in the recipient to initiate/inspire and stimulate a change in the reality of the society by rebuilding. Change starts with adopting moral standards and values that are respected and honored by everyone in society. Change also begins with a desire to be clean internally and externally.
Elijah muhammad admired the educational system in america. The greatest desire for the college scholarship program is to provide a equal opportunity to all nationalities regardless of creed or class or color we want students to participate in the contest. The ultimate goal is to send at least 1 million students to college. The landscape of america will change once poeple start being educated on how to live better more civilized lives. The crime rates,percentage of homelessness,drug abuse and alcoholism will almost dissappear once we start sharing the program/website with the public. We definitely hope that our website be shared by people who actually purchase products and/or enter the the contest.
How our scholorship works
1. participants must purchase 1 item from the website to enter the contest. 2. All participants must be at least 13 years old to enter the contest.
3. Each participant must read and do 1000 word essay/book report on Message to the Blackman .
4. A person does not have to be a Muslim or become a Muslim in order to become a contest winner.
5. A participant is allowed to enter the contest as many times as they like if he/she purchase a product from the website. Sometimes a person may read a book for a second time and learn something new or may get a different opinion/interpretation of the book they already read before.
6. All participants must complete a Elijah Muhammad college scholarship application.
7. All college scholarship applicants must choose a school from the home state they live in.
8. All college scholarship applicants must first be accepted to said school before they can be sponsored.
9 . The scholarship is for academics only and does not cover any housing or other school-related fees.
10. A winner may only receive the college scholarship award if they have done the book report his/herself. Scholarship awards may not be donated or given to anyone else.
